【摘要】:Coversburglar-alarmsystemunitsintendedforuseinresidencestoprotectacompletemultiroomresidence,oneroomofaresidence,oroneopeningorareainaresidence.Householdburglar-alarmsystemunitscoveredbytheserequirementsconsistofoneormoreunitassembliesofelectricalcomponentsthataredesignedtodetectthepresence,movement,sound,orotheractivityofanintruder.Provisionsaremadefortheconnectionofapowersupply,remotecontrol,andsignalcircuitsbyaprescribedmethodofwiring.ThesesystemunitsusuallyoperatewithinthelimitsofClass2remotecontrolandsignalcircuitsasdefinedbyArticle725oftheAmericanNationalStandardNationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70.ThisstandardwasoriginallylistedintheOctober13,1995issueofStandardsAction.Itisbeingresubmittedduetosubstantivechangestothetext.
