【摘要】:Thisguideprovidesguidanceforthecharacterizationofcoalflyashorcleancoalcombustionflyashforpotentialusesinwhichabsorption,cementitiousactivity,pozzolanicactivity,pHadjustment,heatrise,orstabilizationandsolidificationpropertiesmaybedesired.1.1Thisguiderecommendsstandardsforthecharacterizationofflyashfromthecombustionofcoal,flyashfromcoalcombustedinthepresenceofalkalinematerials,andflyashfromcombustedcoalinwhichthefluegaseshavebeentreatedwithalkalinematerialsinthepresenceoftheflyash.1.2Thisguideprovidesrecommendedandoptionaltestmethodsforflyashevaluation.Acceptancecriteriacanbenegotiatedbetweentheproducerandtheuseraccordingtothepotentialenduse.1.3Thecoalflyashandcleancoalcombustionflyashofthisguidedonotincludethefollowing:1.3.1Dustsfromkilnsproducingproductssuchaslime,portlandcement,activatedclays,etc.;1.3.2By-productsoffluegasdesulflurizationthatarenotcollectedwiththeprimaryflyashremovalequipmentsuchasthebaghouseorelectrostaticprecipitator;and1.3.3Flyashorothercombustionproductsderivedfromtheburningofwaste;municipal,industrial,orcommercialgarbage;sewagesludgeorotherrefuse,orboth;derivedfuels;wood;woodwasteproducts;ricehulls;agriculturewaste;orothernon-coalfuelsorothersuchfuelsblendedwithcoal,orsomecombinationthereof.1.4Flyashmaycontainsometraceelementsthatmayaffectperformanceorpotentialenduse.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
