【摘要】:Thedocumentestablishestherequirementsforpreserviceandinservicetestingandexaminationofcertaincomponentstoassesstheiroperationalreadinessinlight-waterreactorpowerplants.Itidentifiesthecomponentssubjecttotestorexamination,responsibilities,methods,intervals,parameterstobemeasuredandevaluated,criteriaforevaluatingtheresults,correctiveaction,personnelqualification,andrecordkeeping.Theserequirementsapplyto:(a)pumpsandvalvesthatarerequiredtoperformaspecificfunctioninshuttingdownareactortothesafeshutdowncondition,inmaintainingthesafeshutdowncondition,orinmitigatingtheconsequencesofanaccident;(b)pressurereliefdevicesthatprotectsystemsorportionsofsystemsthatperformoneormoreofthesethreefunctions;and(c)dynamicrestraints(snubbers)usedinsystemsthatperformoneormoreofthesethreefunctions.
