【摘要】:Mechanicaldrivesystemsoperabilityandlong-termintegrityareconcernsthatshouldbeaddressedprimarilyduringthedesignphase;however,problemsidentifiedduringfabricationandtestingshouldberesolvedandthechangesinthedesigndocumented.Equipmentoperabilityandintegritycanbecompromisedduringhandlingandinstallationsequences.Forthisreason,thesubjectequipmentshouldbehandledandinstalledundercloselycontrolledandsupervisedconditions.Thisstandardisintendedasasupplementtootherstandards,andtofederalandstateregulations,codes,andcriteriaapplicabletothedesignofequipmentintendedforthisuse.Thisstandardisintendedtobegenericandtoapplytoawiderangeoftypesandconfigurationsofmechanicaldrivesystems.1.1Intent1.1.1Theintentofthisstandardistoprovidegeneralguidelinesforthedesign,selection,qualityassurance,installation,operation,andmaintenanceofmechanicaldrivesystemsusedinremotehotcellenvironments.Thetermmechanicaldrivesystemsusedherein,encompassesallindividualcomponentsusedforimpartingmotiontoequipmentsystems,subsystems,assemblies,andothercomponents.Italsoincludescompletepositioningsystemsandindividualunitsthatprovidemotivepowerandanypositionindicatorsnecessarytomonitorthemotion.1.2Applicability1.2.1Thisstandardisintendedtobeapplicabletoequipmentusedunderoneormoreofthefollowingconditions:Thematerialshandledorprocessedconstituteasignificantradiationhazardtomanortotheenvironment.Theequipmentwillgenerallybeusedoveralong-termlifecycle(forexample,inexcessoftwoyears),butequipmentintendedforuseoverashorterlifecycleisnotexcluded.Theequipmentcanneitherbeaccesseddirectlyforpurposesofoperationormaintenance,norcantheequipmentbevieweddirectly,forexample,withoutradiationshieldingwindows,periscopes,oravideomonitoringsystem.1.2.2Thesystemofunitsemployedinthisstandardisthemetricunit,alsoknownasSIUnits,whicharecommonlyusedforInternationalSystems,anddefined,byASTM/IEEESI-10StandardforUseofInternationalSystemofUnits.1.3UserCaveats1.3.1Thisstandardisnotasubstituteforappliedengineeringskills,provenpracticesandexperience.Itspurposeistoprovideguidance.Theguidancesetforthinthisstandardrelatingtodesignofequipmentisintendedonlytoalertdesignersandengineerstothosefeatures,conditions,andproceduresthathavebeenfoundnecessaryorhighlydesirabletothedesign,selection,operationandmaintenanceofmechanicaldrivesystemsforthesubjectserviceconditions.Theguidancesetforthresultsfromdiscoveriesofconditions,practices,features,orlackoffeaturesthatwerefoundtobesourcesofoperationalormaintenanceproblems,orcausesoffailure.1.3.2Thisstandarddoesnotsupersedefederalorstateregulations,orboth,andcodesapplicabletoequipmentunderanyconditions.1.3.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
