【摘要】:ThisguidesupersedestheslopeguidelinesofAppendixX1ofSpecificationD312.Hot-appliedroofingasphaltservesbothasthewaterproofingagentandadhesiveforconstructionofbuilt-uproofingmembranes.TherearemanyvariablesthatmayaffecttheperformanceofBURmembranes.Thisguideprovidesgeneralspecificationguidelinesfortheasphaltonly.1.1Thepurposeofthisguideistoprovideadvicefortheselectionofasphaltusedintheconstructionofbuilt-uproofing(BUR).Thisguidedoesnotaddresstheuseofasphaltinwaterproofing,cold-applied,ormodifiedbituminousroofing.1.2Reinforcementsconsideredforusewithroofingasphaltincludeplysheets,(seeSpecificationsD226,D2178,andD5726),basesheets(seeSpecificationsD2626,D4601,andD4897),andcapsheets(seeSpecificationD3909).Theyconsistofglass,organic,orsyntheticfibers.1.3Theuseofasphaltintheplacementofvaporretardersandrigidroofinsulationalsoisaddressed.
